Learning Through Bettear

Ono Academic College sought out Bettear to enable all students the ability to access every lecture and opportunity on campus. To achieve this, B-SHOW systems were installed within 31 classrooms and auditoriums.

To avoid the need for establishing long distance infrastructure, a B-SHOW unit, an access point and a smart array microphone were installed in each classroom as a stand-alone system.

In each auditorium, the B-SHOW connects directly to the local sound system’s outputs to ensure an uncompromised sound experience.

Connect with Ease

Students can now enter an accessible classroom, open the Bettear App and instantly enjoy a customisable and focused listening experience directly to their hearing-aid, cochlear implant, or any other earpiece or headphones.

Encouraging Class Participation

Since the microphone covers the class - not only the lecturer - students can immerse themselves and take part. Whether by engaging in debates and questions from fellow students or audience members.
